Written by By Mark Walters

There have been some great styles of jackets released this spring so making your next purchase should not be difficult at all...

Windbreaker : Fashion-forward and low-priced, the hooded windbreaker will not cost you much and its simple cut epitomizes Spring 2010's sportswear-inspired trend. On drizzly days, you can simply throw this jacket on over your casual or office clothes or, after playing sports, you can use it to conceal a sweaty t-shirt on your way home. It is not the warmest of jackets, but it can easily deal with the slight chills that creep from winter in to spring.

Engineered Blazer : The perfect in-between jacket; for the times when you do not want to look too casual, but want it to be known that you have made some effort.. A three-button design looks smartest, so keep an eye out for one in that style. When worn with dark denim, a plain t-shirt and a nice scarf, you cannot fail to impress.

Denim Trucker : Denim will, as it normally is, be a major influence on this season's fashions. To make your denim jacket stand out from the crowd, opt for a slim trucker jacket. They differ from a standard denim jacket in that they are close fitting on the body and longer in the arms. Wear it at night when out with your friends and you will draw a few jealous looks.

Military Jacket : Perfect for active guys who are constantly on the move. Go for a black, brown or gray version and you will look as good in it at night as you do when you are taking your dog for a walk around the park. Plenty of pockets are a bonus for those of you who have wallets, coins, phones, iPods, etc. to carry around with you all of the time.

Trench Coat : Probably the coolest jacket of the season. So versatile that you can can wear it to work and get the same reaction as you would when wearing it to a club. With this jacket you can make a formal outfit look more informal or an informal outfit look more formal in an instant.
